 REQUIRED DOCOMENTS:

All drivers, in addition to a valid drivers licence must present a second form of photographic identification. If drivers fail to do so the campervan hire will be annulled, and cancellation costs will apply. Accepted forms of identification include a valid passport and age card.

All drivers must be confirmed no later than 6 weeks in advance of hire. If your booking is made within 6 weeks of hire then all driver details must be furnished at the time of booking. Documents can be scanned & emailed, photocopied & posted, or photographed with a smart phone / tablet & emailed. Documents must be legible.

A SECURITY DEPOSIT: 

In addition to the rental payment there is a €940 security deposit required.

The security deposit is payable by debit, credit, revolut card or cash, 1 day in advance of hire. 

The security deposit is fully refunded upon safe return of the vehicle(s) to TBcampers. 

Providing there has been no insurance claims the deposit (minus costs where needed) will be returned after 10 working days after the safe return of the vehicle if no fines or other expenses are found during the rental period and on the following conditions:

- No damage to vehicle, including tyres, or any third party.

- No malfunction, breakdown or repairs caused by the negligence of the hirer. The hirer is required to report any vehicle warning lights, check the water and oil levels in the engine and tyre pressures.

- Vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date and time.

- Vehicle is refuelled.

- Vehicle and contents are returned in the same condition as collected, the interior cleaned including all cooking utensils and camping equipment where applicable.

- No additional cleaning required due to the carriage of pets.

- No additional costs have been incurred during the period of rental, e.g.: violation of traffic laws or regulations.

- The vehicle has not been driven by anyone other than those named in the Motor Rental Agreement.

Additional cleaning fees may be charged against the deposit if the vehicle is not returned with the interior and exterior in a reasonably clean condition. The cleaning fee may be raised to €100 in extreme cases. 

NOTE: Allowing the vehicle to be driven by anyone other than those named in the Insurance Motor Rental Agreement will result in full loss of the hirer’s security deposit.

THE FULL PAYMENT/CANCELATION:

- The full rental payment and the deposit is to confirm your booking.

or

- The full rental payment is to confirm your booking and the deposit can be paid on the day of the collection of the campervan.

In the event of a cancellation by the hirer the following charges will be incurred per vehicle booked:

Within 1 week of rental AND no show: 100% of rental payment.

Within 6 weeks of rental: 50% of rental payment.

More than 6 weeks before rental: €99 administration fee.

ALL ABOUT THE INSURANCE:

Full insurance is provided. All drivers must be between the ages of 25 – 70 inclusive.

Full roadside assistance is provided.

TBcampers cannot accept the use of any other insurance cover for our vehicles. It is not possible to transfer or use your own car insurance even if you have a motor trader policy. 

Licences from the following EU countries must be held for a minimum of 2 years:

Ireland, UK, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain & Sweden.

Licences from the following EEA & Recognised Exchange countries must be held for a minimum of 5 years:Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa RSA, South Korea RSK, Taiwan, Australia (Capital Territory, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia).

Licences from the following countries must be held for a minimum of 8 years:

USA, Canada.

If your country is not listed above then unfortunately we cannot accept you as a driver. Please note that International Drivers Licences are not accepted.

A normal drivers licence is all that is required to drive a campervan.

EXTRAS:

We can provide bed linen & towels at an additional cost.

Collection (e.g. from Dublin Airport if you visit Ireland) is available upon request.

The parking of one car per rental will be provided by TBcampers. Parking is entirely at the hirer’s own risk.

All of our motorhomes include a kitchen meaning they are an easy way to discover the Emerald Isle at your own pace.

All our motorhomes are dog/cat friendly, so when booking there is no need to worry which van you choose.

TBcampers come fully equipped for camping. We like to think that we have thought of everything you should need for your trip.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Vehicles will be supplied with a full fuel tank at pick-up and must be returned with the same. If a tank needs to be filled after return, your card will be debited for the amount required.

Campers may be collected 7 days a week. At least 24 hours notice is required to change your allocated collection time.

No refund is given for an early return of the vehicle for any reason.

Please consider that the next customer may be collecting the vehicle within hours of your return time. If the vehicle is returned late (i.e. outside the times agreed), TBcampers reserves the right to charge late penalty fees together with any additional costs incurred by  TBcampers (e.g. compensation to the next hirer.)

Elected collection & return times: These are the times you have entered on your booking form or agreed with us in advance for the collection and return of your camper. Please allow approximately 30-40 minutes in advance of your agreed collection time to complete final paperwork and your vehicle demonstration.

Please notify us ASAP if you get delayed or if you wish to change either your collection or return times.

European drivers must have a full licence for a minimum of 2 years. EEA Licences must be held for a minimum of 5 years. US & Canadian licences must be held for a minimum of 8 years. No novice drivers, please, only full, clean (no penalty points) driving licence.

TBcampers are covered for travel within the 32 counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. They cannot be taken across the water to the UK or Europe under any circumstance.

Driver(s) are personally liable for all legal penalties and fees pertaining to any traffic violation infringements under the current Road Traffic Legislation applicable in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. The driver(s) will be liable for any penalties and fees received during their rental.

TBcampers will notify the driver(s) of any speeding or parking fines and an administration charge of €30 for each infringement incurred throughout the hire period.

All campervans have minimum rental period of 2/3 days.

Ireland boasts a great network of campsites. You can also find the resources online at www.campingireland.ie .

Ireland is pretty free and easy and wild camping is acceptable. Overnight camping is not permitted at most popular tourist attractions but if you move a few miles down the road you will find a beautiful location to stop and camp.

THE HIRER AND/OR DRIVERS:

The Hirer must comply, and is liable for ensuring that the named Driver(s) comply with the following obligations:

- Can not lend or hire the vehicle to a third party.

- Can not tow anything with the vehicle.

- Can not carry more passengers than the permitted capacity of the vehicle.

- Can not use the vehicle for carriage of passengers or goods for hire or reward.

- Can not move the vehicle outside of Ireland (North & South). Any expenses incurred recovering a TBcampers vehicle from overseas shall be the responsibility of the hirer.

- Can not use the vehicle for or in conjunction with any race, competition, festivals or for hire or reward.

- Should restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions, or any other reasonable cause.

 - Will be responsible for the costs of recovery for a vehicle that has become bogged or immovable due to movement over unsteady or uneven surfaces.

- Can not permit smoking in the vehicle.

Undertakes to keep the vehicle securely locked at all times when unattended.

- Must ensure that the Driver(s) is/are fit and capable at all times.

- Can not allow the vehicle to be driven by anyone other than those declared and named and in the TBcampers Motor Rental Agreement.

Electric picnic is one of the places that is  strictly NOT allowed to travel to, or stay with the campervans.

If discovered that this term has been breached, the campervan will be IMMEDIATELY confiscated, with NO possibility of a return regarding money. If any further damage is found, an additional fine will be taken, which will be decided by the innocent party.
